Vishaka Committee 2025-26
The Vishaka Committee at the school enquires into complaints from females on matters related to sexual harassment. The committee ensures the prevention and redressal of any instances of sexual harassment in the workplace. It also aims to create a safe environment for women and promote equality and gender justice.
Objectives
- Prevent discrimination and sexual harassment against women by promoting gender equality among students and employees.
- Deal with cases of discrimination and sexual harassment against women in a time-bound manner, ensuring support services for the victim and termination of harassment.
- Recommend appropriate punitive action against the guilty to the principal.
- Ensure the implementation of the policy through proper reporting of complaints and follow-up procedures.
